Where's the beef?

Since our return from the east, we have kicked mealtime into high gear. We are eating Baby Mum Mums (rice crackers) eating yogurt (there was no stopping them once they had a taste in NB), eating cottage cheese, and eating MEAT. For those you know me, know that I was never a huge fan of the red meat. So imagine my surprise when I opened a baby jar of meat/ground cat to give to the kids for dinner. I could barely stomach it so that is when I decided to cook my own meat for them. I didn't know you could boil meat, and eat it as well, but they are begrudgingly stomaching it for the most part. Chicken seems to be their favorite (obviously my offspring), along with turkey and bringing up the rear in the preference department is the beef. Grace is turning into our star pupil, and Everett has discovered his taste buds so feels the need to gag and quiver every time we give him something he doesn't particularly enjoy. And then there is Avery aka Little Shannon. She is turning into quite the picky eater. Once the meat hits her tongue, that's basically where it stays unless its exceptionally gross then she spits it right back at ya. Anyone who is unfortunate to feed her must wear the standard tarpaulin and not lean in too close for fear of getting a face full of half chewed, saliva-filled turkey and veggies. My next attempt is tofu, so this should get a number of objections.
