Mommy's Boy

There are 2 ways we can tell that Everett is our kid. One, he is Jason's mini-me, so he cannot deny that Everett is his son, but another way is he has recently been caught enjoying his thumb. For those who did not know me when I was a child, I was an avid thumb-sucker. According to the stories, I loved sucking my thumb so much when my mother would take me to the department store I would sit under the clothing rack and feel all the fabrics until I had found just the right one and start suckin' away. Although it ruined my teeth forcing my parents to pay thousands of dollars to fix them, it has taught me what an especially excellent fabric is all about. Now hopefully when I take Everett to the store he doesn't feel the need to sit amongst the dresses and find the perfect fabric, but learning from my parents I promptly take his thumb out and stick a soother in instead.
