Girls Night Out

This past Friday night was the first official Simpson girls night out. We were invited over to Steve & Amanda's for some drinks and dessert. Since I hadn't been outside in a while I thought this would be a nice change. When Amanda called and asked me I gladly accepted but there was one condition, she wanted me to bring babies. "All of them?" I asked. I had to pick myself off the floor when she replied "All of them". I was a little hesitant at first since this would be the first time I would be travelling alone with three amigos. Jason was more than accomodating since he saw this as an opportunity to catch some needed ZZZ's.
I arrived at Steve & Amanda's shortly after 7 pm, and was greeted at the door by some eager gals willing to take a few kids off my hands. I met Steve at the door with 2 kids in hand and the first thing he asked me was "Did you leave a kid in the car?" Since Amanda told me it was a girls party, I decided to just bring the girls. So mommy, Avery & Grace were out whooping it up while Everett & daddy had a lay-on-the-couch night. It was a lovely evening, and I would like to thank Amanda for inviting me.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Steve & Amanda on their engagement. I told Steve I had found the perfect girl for him when they sent me to Thompson, and it looks like I was right.
