North Mine/South Mine Kids Xmas Party

Last Sunday we attended the East Mines' Association Kids Christmas Party held at the Copper Cliff Club. Under advisement of the Pinciveros, we arrived around noon to find a jam-packed room full of over-stimulated, candy-filled youngsters all seeming to be squealing at the same time. So we wheeled our 'bus' into the crowd wanting to be a part of it all. The gift rooms were divided by age group, so after some manuvering we eventually made it to the 0-5 year room. Our intended attendance was never for the gift but just to get out in the world, but we ended up with some delightful gifts. We selected the Winnie the Pooh character pillows, but not just ordinary pillows but the softest, plushest pillows I have ever felt. We got Piglet, Tiger and Eorye. At first Jason had chosen which pillow would go with a certain kid, but now I think I have changed my mind. Naturally Tiger would be Everett, Eorye would be Avery, and Piglet would Grace. The last pillow (Piglet) for some reason atuomatically went to Grace which I thought 'Man, we are going to give this kid a complex'. And Everett is defintely Eorye. So after some thought, Avery is Piglet, Grace is defintely Tiger and Everett, well that one was a no-brainer.
