Our day on the farm

Today we spent the morning at the Wagon Wheel Ranch were we went on a horse-drawn wagon ride, went through a small animal petting zoo, and selected a pumpkin from the pumpkin cart. Everyone really enjoyed the wagon ride, and we couldn't get Grace away from the pot-belly pigs. Everett and Avery were smitten' with the rabbits. Lets hope this is not a glance into our pet-owning future.

We picnicked on-site, and just wandered around and enjoyed the last of the fabulous weather.

Happy Thanksgiving

This is a first!! It was daddy's year to shine when he decided he was going to do Thanksgiving dinner. He did all the prep work, grocery shopping cooking, table prep and mommy did the clean up. And ladies, he even made is own gravy; from scratch...WOW. The meal turned out fantastic, and the even though the kids were not fond of the potatoes or turnips, they did fancy the porketta roast, the corn and first and foremost, the BREAD. They must be my offspring.

Everett's New Baby

It looks as though Everett is far more sensitive than we first thought. Despite his rumble-tumble, rip-your-face-off energy level, he has a softer side. But don't be fooled, just after taking the video, he threw his baby on the floor.

Gracie gets her groove back!

Well Grace has finally found her groove again. It has been a week since her re-transition to her big girl bed and everything is.....(I don't want to say it out loud just in case I jinx it)

The New World

Just a big thanks to Grandad & Grandma Simpson for the world map puzzle. It arrived today and before everyone was up from their naps, I installed it directly into the existing floor. Everyone seemed very interested, asking about the various animals in the different countries.
