No more highchairs
Since our visit with the Chapleau triplets, we have officially removed the highchairs from the kitchen. Talking with Tracy and learning she had made the move to booster chairs, I decided that was an excellent idea. Avery had been eating on and off at the table for some time, but Everett & Grace had never shown any interest. But I decided to go ahead anyway. So now everyone eats at the table all together, and what a good decision it was.
And yes, Everett is wearing pajama bottoms on his head.

Our Get Well Visit
Last week we made the trip east to Ottawa for a get-well visit for Grandpa Graham. He underwent surgery and was not having an easy time getting back on his feet so we decided to pay him a visit to cheer him up. And I think it paid off because the next day he was released for at least a week anyway.
I am glad to hear everyone is doing better, and I hope we managed to cheer everyone up.
Chapleau Triplets visit
Last weekend we welcomed the Chapleau triplets Lauren, Amber & Evan for another chaotic toddler visit. And once again, it went off without a hitch. Everyone was a little shy in the beginning but quickly got over that once they all hit the playroom. Everyone got along just fine, sliding on the slide, chasing bubbles, and playing with the 'Little People'.
Evan is a a whopping 30 lbs with the girls holding their own around 22-23 lbs respectively. All cute as buttons and so similar in personalities with my own 3 that it was down-right scary. Lauren (leader of the pack) is outspoken, daring and very much like Avery. Amber is quite content to play by herself or enjoy some quiet time with a good book (aka Grace) and Evan is very much a boys boy, not unlike someone else I know.
They stayed for dinner and with 6 toddlers at the table it certainly re-inforced my desire to maintain the Simpson clan @ 3.
As always, the visit seemed to fly by and next thing ya know it was almost 7 pm. Everyone had fun, and we are anxious to repay the visit this summer in Chapleau.
