Grace's Big Nite

From November 2010 until February 2011, Grace, Avery & Everett had been enrolled in CanSkate; which is a skating program for beginners. The girls enjoyed it thoroughly and Everett tolerated it for most of the season. Everything ended (or so we thought) with a Carnival Carousel. The theme was Toy Story. Everett was Rex the dinosaur, Avery was some bug?? and Grace was Bo Peep minus the sheep.

So..weeks went by and we had moved on to other activities completely forgetting about skating. We received a call about 2 weeks ago from CanSkate, inquiring about our attendance at the banquet. They politely informed me Grace was to receive an award for the most improved skater. And here she is graciously accepting her award...

Holidays 2010

So the newest tradition is to kick of the holidays with a school concert. Broadway this ain't, but as any parent know, take one of these over all the shows in NY.

This school stuff is tough!

These days in full day school, the kids are pretty whipped by the time they get home. Everett and Avery have already abandoned Grace on te bus once when she fell asleep, and by the time they watch a Diego episode at night, they don't even make it through that 20 minutes!

The best tree EVER!

So we went for annual trip to Freskiew Farm to pick out our tree. Lots of fun this year running between the trees. The kids were pretty flexible on which one, primarily based on the ast one they saw. Mommy was outvoted in the end and the Charlie Brown tree was avoided this year and we got a nice plump tree.

Four Generations On The Pitch

In order to spend some time with my Dad and fulfill my endless desire to travel, I suggested we start doing trips together. I suggested soccer, my dad insisted on English Premier League, and Christina suggested we bring Everett along. All that was left was the planning (thanks dad).

While in England we had the great fortune of spending some time with my grandparents Frank & Jean.
